GID has a wholly-owned development group dedicated to building iconic mixed-use, residential and commercial projects.  GID also maintains an active joint-venture development program, which has included 32 assets with 18 local developers.  As a result, GID enjoys advantages in construction management and asset due diligence, and can evaluate market entry points that provide the lowest possible basis, appropriately evaluating construction and lease-up risk and resulting in more attractive long-term returns.

Current Activity

GID Development has recently opened Waterline Square and Stratus Apartments in New York and Seattle, respectively.

Groundbreakings on Regent Square in Houston and High Street in Atlanta are expected in 2020.
