Michael Ferguson

Michael Ferguson is Senior Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Ferguson started his career in 1996 as a consultant with On-Site Insight providing a variety of multi-family property owners across the US with 20-year physical capital needs assessments. After 10 years with OSI, Michael moved to an asset management position at MMA Financial, a LIHTC syndicator, managing a 78-property portfolio in the Northeast. In 2007, Mr. Ferguson joined the Winn Companies as the Portfolio Facilities Director for Winn’s 42,000-unit national military housing portfolio. Before joining GID in 2015, he worked with a local management firm, Peabody Properties, as Vice President of Facilities Management. Mr. Ferguson graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Surveying and holds a LEED Green Associate designation. He is passionate about fundraising for Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and is a 13-year rider in the Pan-Mass Challenge, a 200-mile bike ride that supports cancer research and patient care.
