Senior Vice President, Risk Management

Tim King is Senior Vice President, Risk Management, overseeing the risk management and insurance functions for GID. Tim joined GID in 2018. In his role, Tim and the Risk Management Team focus on protecting the company’s corporate mission, values, assets, employees, residents, partners, and investors by providing risk management services to the entire organization.  The Risk Management Team manages GID’s insurance program, claims, contractual risk transfer, and loss prevention and control throughout the organization.  

Tim has held several risk and insurance positions since starting his career in 2004, including insurance brokerage and risk management consulting. Tim received an MBA from Bryant University in Rhode Island and a BS in Finance from Providence College.
