Sean Caldwell
President, GID Residential Partners
Sean Caldwell is President of GID Residential Partners and serves on the Executive Committee and the Multifamily Development Investment Committee. Mr. Caldwell is responsible for the strategy development and overall management of GID’s national multifamily development platform.
Previously, Mr. Caldwell was an Executive Managing Director and a Founding Partner of Mill Creek Residential (MCR) where he sat on the Investment Committee for seven years. During his 26 years with MCR and its predecessor, Trammell Crow Residential (TCR), he managed the development, construction, and disposition of more than 14,000 homes, representing over $6 billion in value across markets from Boston to North Carolina. Prior to MCR/TCR, he served as a Senior Project Civil Engineer for VIKA, Inc, overseeing project design, entitlements, and construction management of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.
Mr. Caldwell is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Multifamily Gold Council and sits on the National Association for Home Builders (NAHB) Multi-Family Executive Committee.
Mr. Caldwell received a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University and a Master of Business Administration from The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
