Rene Circ
President, GID Industrial
Rene Circ is President of GID Industrial. Mr. Circ is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves on the GID Industrial Investment Committee. Mr. Circ leads the GID Industrial platform including investments, operations, investment strategy and product development and oversight of all industrial portfolios.
Prior to joining GID, Mr. Circ co-led the Industrial Implementation Committee at First Industrial Realty Trust, where he was responsible for building new industrial platforms in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Mr. Circ has also served in an advisory capacity, guiding multiple institutional investors, such as TPG Inc. (“TPG”) and Ivanhoé Cambridge, through entering the U.S. industrial market and advised industrial investors and developers including Industrial Income Trust, Industrial Property Trust, CenterPoint Properties and Rockefeller Group International, Inc. on individual transactions.
Mr. Circ received a BA degree in Economics from Beloit College and an MA degree in Economics from DePaul University.
