Min Woo Kang

SVP, Capital Raising

Min Woo Kang serves as Senior Vice President, Capital Raising for GID and is responsible for building investor relationships and capital raising in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining GID, Mr. Kang spent nearly ten years at Tishman Speyer, most recently as Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets. While at Tishman Speyer, Mr. Kang developed strong relationships with investors in Korea and Japan, expanding the firm’s network of partners and raising over $3.5 billion of capital in aggregate to fund the company’s various investments globally. He also worked closely with the regional and portfolio management teams to provide client management services to investors in existing ventures; formulate and execute business plans; and forge new partnerships.

Prior to Tishman Speyer, Mr. Kang spent five years with GE Capital Real Estate, with roles in equity and debt underwriting, deal structuring, and investment management. He also managed a global strategic partnership with an Asian institutional investor and evaluated and closed investments for a U.S. high-yield debt fund.

Mr. Kang received a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and graduate degrees in architecture and real estate from Harvard University.
