Michael Wenaas
Co-Head, Chief Investment Officer, GID Industrial
Michael Wenaas is Chief Investment Officer and Co-Head of GID Industrial. Mr. Wenaas is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves on the GID Industrial Investment Committee. Mr. Wenaas’s responsibilities include leading GID Industrial’s investment and disposition activity and overseeing GID Industrial’s development projects. He is also instrumental in formulating the investment strategy, assisting in capital formation, and establishing and maintaining relationships for GID Industrial.
Prior to joining GID, Mr. Wenaas led the acquisitions group for industrial real estate assets and the affiliated industrial operating platform of Colony Capital and Cobalt Capital Partners, L.P., where he led the acquisitions of more than 60 million square feet of industrial buildings. Mr. Wenaas also worked at Crow Holdings Capital and Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Wenaas received a BBA degree from the University of Oklahoma.
