Jesse A. Shapiro
Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager
Jesse A. Shapiro is Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for one of GID’s Multifamily co-investment vehicles and is a member of the vehicle’s Investment Committee. Mr. Shapiro is responsible for the vehicle’s business plan and day-to-day operations. Prior to his role as Portfolio Manager, Mr. Shapiro was Head of Multifamily Asset Management at GID, where he oversaw the strategic business plans and joint venture development program for the firm’s multifamily assets. Prior to this role, he was a member of GID’s multifamily acquisitions team, where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and negotiating new acquisitions and joint venture development investments.
Before joining GID, Mr. Shapiro worked in portfolio management, asset management, and underwriting roles for Boston Financial Investment Management and Wells Fargo. Mr. Shapiro graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a BS in Finance and is a CFA Charterholder.
