Chief Financial Officer

Hisham Kader is Chief Financial Officer at GID. Mr. Kader is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves on the Investment Committees for the firm’s Multifamily, Industrial, and Credit verticals. Mr. Kader is responsible for overseeing the firm’s Capital Markets, Finance and Accounting, Tax, Risk Management, and Information Technology departments. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kader served as Chief Financial Officer of W. P. Carey (“WPC”), a public real estate firm headquartered in New York City.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at WPC, Mr. Kader was the Chief Accounting Officer and an Executive Director of the company and its managed REITs. Prior to joining WPC in 2011, he worked for 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) in New York, including 6 years at their offices in Sydney, Australia, and Brussels, Belgium, where he primarily advised public and private Asian and European companies.

Mr. Kader received a Bachelor of Engineering – Electronics and Communication from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India, an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.S. in Accounting from Pace University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York.
