Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Gustaf Burman is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for GID. Mr. Burman is responsible for leading the Information Technology department, both tactically and strategically, supporting the multifamily, industrial and credit verticals of the firm.

Previously, Mr. Burman worked at Montage International, a full five-star ultra-luxury hotel management company, as the Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Head of Hotel Engineering responsible for technology, facilities management, safety, and physical security.

Prior to Montage, Mr. Burman was the Chief Technology Officer at Morgans Hotel Group, a publicly traded hotel management company headquartered in New York City. Prior to Morgans, Mr. Burman had a 17-year tenure at Starwood Hotels & Resorts with various technology roles, culminating in working on the global property technology division for the company.

Mr. Burman attended both Lund and Stockholm Universities in Sweden, focusing on business administration and political science.
