Amy Penn is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Client Solutions for GID and is responsible for coordination and strategic development across capital raising and investor relations functions.  

Prior to joining GID, Ms. Penn was the Managing Director of Credit and Hedge Funds at Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS), where she oversaw the plan’s allocations to strategies spanning private credit, distressed debt, strategic credit, and hedge funds. Before her role at TCDRS, she practiced law at national and boutique litigation firms in New York and Texas, focusing primarily on complex commercial litigation for the financial services sector. She began her career in the State Tax Consulting group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston.   

Ms. Penn received B.A. and Master of Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Texas and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the state bars of Texas and New York.
