GID announced today the formation of a joint venture with Mill Creek Residential to develop Modera Cornerstone, a 330 unit multi-family luxury property in Plantation, Florida, seven miles west of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The project will be constructed on a 6.3 acre site within the Plantation Midtown development district, an employment and retail hub of over two million square feet of occupied office space and five million square feet of retail. Located just off the entrance to I-595, the site also offers convenient east-west and north-south access to the 23 million square feet of office space within Broward County.
Upon completion, the project will consist of two seven-story residential buildings constructed around a six-level parking garage, one five-story building containing 29 units and a separate clubhouse/leasing office with an adjacent pool deck. Amenities will include a fitness center, swimming pool, clubroom, business center, two Wi-Fi lounges, rideshare waiting area, tot lot and a dog spa. The property will offer a mix of one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom units with an overall average unit size of 1,053 square feet. Units will feature nine-foot ceilings, quartz countertops with under-mount sinks, tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances and vinyl plank flooring in the kitchens and living rooms.
