GID announced today that it has acquired The Aster, a 268 unit apartment community located in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood in Atlanta, GA. The Aster is situated between Atlanta’s Beltline and the Historic Fourth Ward Park, two of the city’s most desirable outdoor lifestyle amenities. The property also enjoys close proximity to Atlanta’s largest employment hubs in Midtown and Peachtree Center/Downtown.

Completed in 2017, the mid-rise property consists of one five-story building above structured below-grade parking. The community features a multi-level fitness center with yoga studio, a clubroom, resort-style swimming pool with tanning deck, outdoor kitchen area, and a rooftop lounge.
